Dr. Rodrigo Henao Flórez is a medical surgeon who graduated from Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla) and specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Universidad de Caldas (Manizales). He then completed a subspecialty in Human Reproduction at Inser Medellín, where he strengthened his clinical and empathetic approach in supporting reproductive-minded couples.
He holds additional training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery from the Instituto Europeo de Ciencias Endoscópicas in Caracas (Venezuela), as well as in gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound (Levels I and II) from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. Furthermore, he earned a specialization in Health Management from Universidad de Cartagena, enabling him to integrate medical leadership with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
His professional career in reproductive medicine began in the Coffee Axis, where for more than thirteen years he was part of the medical team at Inser in Pereira and Manizales, helping hundreds of families fulfill their dream of having a child. During this time, he also served as a professor in the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, and clinical sexology at the University of Caldas and the Universidad Visión de las Américas. He is currently a professor in the agreement between Inser and the specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Cartagena.
Dr. Henao actively participates in scientific and professional organizations. He has been part of the boards of directors of entities such as the Colombian Association of Reproduction Centers (Accer) and Asomenopausia, and has been named an honorary member of the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
